HIV AWARENESS DAY IN KIBABII UNIVERSITY.

Kibabii University hosted delegates from the national HIV council of Kenya which took place on the night of 30th November 2022 starting from 9pm to 11pm at night in auditorium C and the meeting was broadcasted life in Citizen Television by Victoria Lubantiri. One of the delicates by the name Doctor Barasa was able to explain in an alaborate format about the causes of this pandemic,the challenges and the ways we can apply to stop the infection such as use of condoms, abstaining and also being faithful to your partner. He also went ahead and said that we have go for a HIV test in order to be aware of our status and if you are tested positive does not mean the end of life but we should should be encouraged to get proper medication, eat well and probably life will continue.He reinstated that being HIV positive is a ticket to death or it is not a death sentence. COMPARISON BETWEEN THE NEWLY OPENNED STUDENT CENTER WITH THE OLD STUDENT CENTER.

Kibabii University has been promoted to be among the top ten best Kenyan University with the best student center. This have been approved a month ago after the official opening of the building by the Kibabii University administrative department led by Proffeser Odero. The old student center was initially located at the opposite side of the nursing whole. However, the newly openned student center is more modernized and it has contains several accomodation rooms including sports ground . Moreover, it is more prestigious than the old student center. This newly openned student center is estimated to have cost six hundred million shillings. The building is located at the far end of the school premises.
